Greg Minnaar won the KwaZulu-Natal Enduro Series opener at the St. Ives MTB Park in Pietermaritzburg over the weekend.
Minnaar, who was crowned champion of the Lenzerheide Downhill World Cup, as well as the UCI Downhill Mountain Bike World Cup in Fort William last year, won the five-leg event with a total time of 17:19.
Samuel Bull finished in second, with Sharjah Jonsson completing the podium.

Timothy Bentley won the two-legged Downhill event, with a fastest time of 1:36.86. He finished with a quicker time than Cullen McMaster and Shaun Smale, who had both rounded out the podium.
