Following the release last week of the provisional list of South African riders for the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup on Saturday, Cycling SA today confirmed the official line-up.
With entries officially having closed today, 30 South African riders – 10 elite men, 13 under-23 men, six elite women and one under-23 woman – are set to compete in the World Cup in Coetzenburg.

Alan Hatherly, who still at this stage is unsure whether he will be able to take part following a wrist injury sustained at the Tankwa Trek, is a notable inclusion.
Gert Heyns, who was the highest-placed South African at the Cape Town Cycle Tour MTB Challenge last weekend, is also on the list.
TransCape MTB Encounter overall champion Stuart Marais and Bamboesberg MTB Challenge winner Jason Meaton are also set to compete.
In the women’s field, Sabie Classic winner Amy McDougall and Tankwa Trek overall winner Candice Lill are included.
