BMC Racing’s Rohan Dennis (Austria) won the ITT with a time of 11:14, finishing the route faster than LottoNL-Jumbo’s Jos van Emden (Netherlands) in second and Team Sky’s Jonathan Castroviejo (Spain) in third.
DiData’s Louis Meintjes from South Africa secured 17th place overall.
“It’s been a good week; I think we can be happy with the progress so far,” Meintjes said after the final stage. “Today didn’t really go according to plan because the legs didn’t feel great at all.
“Now I have about five days until Volta Catalunya and I think it’s a pretty good course for me. Hopefully we can get a result there.”
