Australia’s Katrin Garfoot won the Commonwealth Games women’s individual time-trial at the Currumbin Beachfront in Gold Coast today.
Garfoot completed the route in 35:08, beating New Zealand’s Linda Villumsen into second by just under a minute. England’s Hayley Simmonds rounded out the podium.

Namibia’s Vera Adrian, who took part in the Tour of Good Hope over a month ago and who just left Team dormakaba SA two weeks ago, finished 16th in 42:26.
