Astana Pro’s Pello Bilbao won the 134.6km first stage of the Tour of the Alps, which finished in Folgaria, Italy, yesterday.
The Spanyiard soloed to victory in 3:26:41, beating teammate and compatriot Luis León Sánchez into second. Androni Giocattoli-Sidermec’s Ivan Ramiro Sosa Cuervo (Colombia) rounded out the podium.
