Julian Alaphilippe (Quick Step Floors) won the 162.1km first stage of the Vuelta al Pais Vasco in Zarautz, Spain, today.
The Frenchman completed beat LottoNL-Jumbo’s Primoz Roglic (Slovakia) in a sprint finish to win the stage in 4:17:16. Astana Pro’s Pello Bilbao (Spain) rounded out the podium.
