Nico Bell and Carla Oberholzer won the feature race of the Vulintaba Extreme road race in Newcastle, KwaZulu-Natal, yesterday.
Bell won the race, which was shortened to 60km due to adverse weather conditions, in 1:30:07, beating Gawie Combrinck and Ryan Harris into second and third respectively.

Oberholzer won the women’s race in 1:49:07, beating Joanna van der Winkel into second. Tiffany Keep rounded out the podium.
