ASG-NAD’s HB Kruger and Matthew Beers won the second Winelands MTB Encounter stage that finished at Le Franschhoek Hotel & Spa in the Cape Winelands today.
The pair, who placed second yesterday, finished the 48km stage in a time of 1:42:09.

The Imbuko-Momsen pairing of Marco Joubert and Dylan Rebello finished in third place again after 1:46:32.
In the women’s race, Louise-Marleen’s Louise Ferreira and Marleen Lourens were victorious. They finished in a time of 2:13:36. Companero’s Ilse Viljoen and Jana Kruger followed them home after 2:25:49.
Dormakaba’s Carmen Buchacher and Paris Basson won the mixed team race in a time of 2:13:50. Fu King Fast’s Everett and Anna placed second, with Gurit AMT Composites’ John Soper and Michelle van Aswegen in third.
