Aidan Connelly and Rogan Smart won stage two of the PwC Great Zuurberg Trek in the Zuurberg Mountains, Eastern Cape, today.
The Bike Shop-Scott-Strocam riders completed the 88km course in a time of 3:40:49.

The second team home were Saddle and Cleats’ Jason Peach and Jason Reed, with RSA Web’s Renay Groustra and Stuart Marais in third.
Ascendis Health-Spur’s Ariane Luthi and Robyn de Groot won the women’s race in a time of 3:53:36. Galileo Risk’s Sarah Hill and Theresa Ralph placed second in 4:04:49.
Silverback Bikes’ Neill Ungerer and Yolande de Villiers won the mixed team race in 3:48:11, with Team Garmin’s Yolandi du Toit and Ben Melt Swanepoel second in 4:01:23.
TIB-Silverback-Best4Sport’s Shaun-Nick Bester and Andrew Hill lead overall in the men’s race. Luthi and De Groot is first in the women’s race, and Ungerer and De Villiers take the top spot in the mixed race.
