The PwC Great Zuurberg Trek is a three-stage mountain bike race that took place in the Addo region of the Eastern Cape from May 25 to 27.
Stage one
The opening stage of the Great Zuurberg Trek featured a 71km route with an ascent of 1 300m.
Riders went through the Sundays River Valley section of the Zuurberg area and took on big climbs and exciting singletrack, while enjoying stunning views.

Stage two
The second stage of the Great Zuurberg Trek comprised an 88km route, the longest of the three.
Riders went through the escarpments of the Karoo Koppies, with great views of the Indian Ocean on the left and the Karoo to the right.
Following the White Knuckle Downhill, riders took on relatively flat Karoo tracks, before they took on an assortment of climbs and descents in the Zuurberg Mountains.
