Schools MTB League North West #1 results

Brendan van Eeden and Chante Payne won the junior races of the Schools MTB League in the first North West event at Wagpos High School, Brits, on Saturday.

Potchefstroom Gimnasium’s Van Eeden won the men’s race in 52:32, beating Rustenburg’s Willie van Eck and Lichtenburg’s Dian Fritz into second and third respectively.

Rustenburg’s Payne won the women’s race in 52:08, finishing ahead of Pecanwood College’s Chloe Nangle in second. Lichtenburg’s Hanje Nel completed the podium.

Schoonspruit’s Jaco Botha and Potchefstroom Gimnasium’s Jone van Eeden won the boys’ and girls’ youth races respectively.
