Denmark’s Annika Langvad won the elite women’s race at the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup in Nové Město na Moravě, Czech Republic, today.
Langvad completed the five-lap race in 1:20:37, edging Switzerland’s Jolanda Neff into second. France’s Pauline Ferrand-Prevot rounded out the podium.

South Africa’s Cherie Redecker, who was seeded 46th, finished 35th in 1:29:20, with her compatriot Mariske Strauss, seeded 37th, placing 55th in 1:34:49.
