South African company Positive Sports Solutions has signed a deal with Controltech Bikes, which will provide local cyclists with access to a wide range of cycling components.
Based in the Pacific Northwest in the United States, Controltech has a footprint around the world and this has now been extended to SA consumers.
A Positive Sports Solutions spokesman said Controltech was looking for further outlets and had approached the SA company to facilitate the arrangement.

“There is a demand in the market for new products that are high quality but come at affordable prices,” said the spokesman.
“Controltech is one of the biggest and most reputable companies in the world, providing excellent support and back-up service.”
Distributing a wide range of products which cover mountain biking and road racing, their products are applicable to entry-level users as well as mid- to high-level users.
One of Controltech’s philosophies is not to restrict itself to one material, even within a single component.

With a wide range of cycling components available, Positive Sports Solutions is confident it can satisfy the needs of local customers.
“The more popular products will be kept in stock,” said the spokesman.
“They will be available to all reputable bike fitment centres and at our showroom in Centurion.”
