Dimension Data announced their line-up for the Criterium du Dauphine, which starts in Valence, France, tomorrow.

In a statement released yesterday, the African team said they would have a dynamic team with their protected riders being Belgian Serge Pauwels, Norwegian Edvald Boasson Hagen and Briton Steve Cummings.
Eritrea’s Amanuel Ghebreigzabhier and South Africa’s Nicholas Dlamini, Jay Thomson and Johann van Zyl will complete their squad.
“Dauphiné is one of my favourite races on the calendar,” said Pauwels.
“It is always a hard race but as a team we have been successful there in the past, especially in 2016 with stage wins by Edvald and Steve.”
He said this year the course looked more challenging as there would be some short but intense mountain stages towards the end of the week.
“I am looking forward to a week of proper racing and we would like to achieve some good results.”
He concluded by saying that the event was the best way to prepare himself for the upcoming Tour de France.
After the prologue on day one, the race is followed by seven road stages with the final one finishing atop Mont Blanc on Sunday, June 10.
