He finished the 25km Extreme route in 59:18 to beat Christo Carelsen (1:03:00) and Andre Potgieter (1:04:42).
Amy Beth McDougall took the spoils in the women’s event in 1:05:36. She was followed by Robyn de Groot (1:05:37) and Sarah Hill (1:07:55).
The men’s Warrior race was won by Martin Glazer in 1:11:19, followed by Anthony Glazer (1:12:51) and Chris Birkin (1:22:18).
Jade Slabbert won the women’s event in 1:14:09. Ysanne Amos (1:42:52) finished second with Linda Eustice (1:53:10) in third.
The victory in the men’s Challenge went to Lance Cuyler (1:36:14) with Guy Park (1:47:01) and Gareth Adams (1:52:41) rounding out the podium.
Andrea Hugo won the women’s title in 1:28:00 ahead of Jemma Wilson (1:46:59) and Simone Human (1:59:05).
