Greyt Escape in photos

The three-day Greyt Escape mountain bike race started at Oaks Estate in Greyton, Western Cape, yesterday.

Below are some photos from each stage, which capture each day’s story.

Stage one

The opening stage consisted of a 62km course with an elevation of 1 147 metres. It started and finished at Oak&Vigne and saw Michael Lambrecht and Nicholas Lambrecht win the men’s team event. View more results here.

Stage two

The second stage comprised a 64km route with an elevation of 1 231 metres, which started with the Blue Hippo double climb and ended in the Greyton mountains. View the results here.
