Christo Carelsen and Sandra Haywood were the respective winners at the Imvelo MTB Classic in Lobamba, Swaziland, today.
Carelsen completed the 65km route in a time of 3:13:21. Muzi Shabangu finished second in 3:13:47, with Klaas Meitjies third in 3:16:11.

Haywood finished in a time of 4:09:04 and was followed home by Retha Harding and Raine Fouche, who finished in 4:33:42 and 5:06:28 respectively.
The 37km men’s race was won by Sifiso Gwebu, who claimed a time of 1:53:31. Second place went to Lungelo Mlangeni in 1:53:32, with Linton Kwanele Jele third in 1:57:16.
Lucinda Bride won the women’s race in 2:22:27, while Linda Loffler came second in 2:25:42 and Lize Swanepoel third in 2:29:31.
