BMC Racing Team won the opening stage of the Tour de Suisse, which consisted of an 18.3km team time-trial in Frauenfeld, Switzerland, today.
The team completed the circuit course in a time of 20:18. Sunweb finished in second place in a time of 20:37, with Quick Step in third after 20:45.

Fourth place went to Bora-hansgrohe in 20:45, while Mitchelton-Scott finished in fifth after 20:47.
BMC’s Stefan Kung crossed the finish line first, which handed him the yellow jersey when the team lines up for tomorrow’s 155km stage.
The teams went off at five minute intervals, with Nippo-Vini Fantini first and Katusha-Alpecin last.
