Richard Damant and Karien van Jaarsveld won the 72km feature of the Jozi Urban MTB Adventure in Marks Park, Johannesburg, today.
Damant completed the race in 2:48:20, beating Jayde Davies by a mere second. Nik Steffny rounded out the podium more than 11 minutes back.

Van Jaarsveld won the women’s category in 3:30:03. Steph Wohlters finished second, with Arlene Drake coming home in third.
Pieter du Toit and Karla Stumpf won the men’s and women’s 54km race respectively.
