Jason Meaton and Shannon Kirkhoff won the 58km Grahamstown 2 Sea mountain-bike race, which finished in Port Alfred, Eastern Cape, today.
Meaton, however, was unable to beat the race record he set in 2014 of 1:38:41; after finishing today’s race in 1:49:22. He beat Jason Peach and Ceajay Bosman into second and third respectively.

Kirkhoff won the women’s race in 2:08:24. Bridgit Hill finished second and Terri-Lynn Penney third.
