Julian Alaphilippe claimed victory on stage 16 of the Tour de France that finished in Bagnères-de-Luchon today.

The Quick-Step Floors rider won the 218km stage, which kicked off in Carcassonne, in a time of 5:13:22.
Second over the line was Bahrain-Merida’s Gorka Izagirre, with Mitchelton-Scott’s Adam Yates in third.
Team Sky’s Geraint Thomas kept his yellow jersey, with teammate Chris Froome in second overall and Team Sunweb’s Tom Dumoulin completing the podium.
