Israel Cycling Academy’s Ben Hermans won the Tour of Austria when the eighth and final stage concluded yesterday.
The Belgian finished with a final general classification time of 29:11:51, beating Bahrain–Merida’s Hermann Pernsteiner by 18 seconds.

Bahrain–Merida’s Giovanni Visconti won the 163.2km final stage in 3:36:01, beating Astana Pro’s Alexey Lutsenko and Roompot–Nederlandse Loterij’s Nick van der Lijke in the final sprint.
South African and DiData’s Louis Meintjes finished the stage in 46th and the tour in 14th.
