Roompot–Nederlandse Loterij’s Pieter Weening soloed to victory on the 92.9km fifth stage of the Tour of Austria yesterday.
The Dutchman completed the stage in 2:50:32, beating Gazprom–RusVelo’s Alexander Foliforov by 49 seconds. Bardiani–CSF’s Simone Sterbini completed the podium another 22 seconds later.
