Frenchman Loris Vergier won the elite men’s downhill race at the fifth round of the UCI MTB World Cup in Andorra today.

Vergier finished the course in 04:04 to beat fellow countryman Amaury Pierron (04:05) and New Zeelander Brook Macdonald (04:05).
Britain’s Tahnee Seagrave claimed the honours in the women’s race when she finished in 04:49 ahead of compatriot Rachel Atherton (04:54) and Australian Tracey Hannah (04:58).
