France’s Amaury Pierron and Great Britain’s Tahnee Seagrave won the respective elite men’s and women’s race at the mountain bike world cup in Val di Sole, Italy, today.
Britain’s Laurie Greenland placed second in the men’s race, with fellow countryman Danny Hart in third. Fourth and fifth place went to America’s Luca Shaw and France’s Thomas Estaque respectively.

Britain’s Rachel Atherton claimed second place in the women’s race, while Slovenia’s Monika Hrastnik placed third. Australia’s Tracey Hannah finished in fourth and Italy’s Veronika Widmann in fifth.
