South Africa’s Gawie Combrinck and Nico Bell moved up to fifth place in the overall standings after finishing fourth on stage five of the La Leyenda del Dorado in Colombia on Friday.

DMT Racing Team by Marconi’s Tiago Ferreira and Hans Becking claimed the honours on the day in 5:44:14. Second were Canyon Topeak’s Alban Lakata and Kristian Hynek (5:46:46), followed by Specialized Colombia’s Fabio Castaneda and Jhon Botero (5:59:58).
Ferreira and Becking maintained their overall lead in 20:10:04, with Lakata and Hynek (20:20:26) in second and Massaer and Dias (21:28:27) in third.
