Timo Cooper took the spoils in the men’s feature race at the Magalies Citrus Gravel Xpress in Skeerpoort, North West, today.
He finished the 105km mountain bike event in 3:56:05, beating Anele Mtalana (3:59:50) and Carl Lotter (4:02:22) to the line.

Janine Stewart (4:49:35) finished first in the women’s race ahead of Bronwynne Swanepoel (4:53:56) and Marisa van der Linde (4:57:58).
Rudi Janse van Rensburg won the 95km men’s title when he finished in 3:27:31. He was followed by Daniel Futerman (3:34:48) and Bryn Freeman (3:36:07).
The women’s race was won by Paula Hardy in 3:59:52. Lona Liebenberg (4:16:52) placed second with Keri Jean Rodden (4:23:58) in third.
Stehan Wolmaraans (1:27:11) claimed the honours in the 45km men’s event. Second and third were Stuart Johnston (1:28:01) and Jarryd Pyle (1:28:19).
Kaylin Prinsloo led the women’s race home in 1:47:51, followed by Hilary O’Leary (1:48:52) and Claire Gschwend (1:53:43).
