Australia’s Liam Magdennis won the men’s 25.89km individual time-trial of the World University Cycling Championship in Braga, Portugal, yesterday.
Magdens completed the route in 33:52, finishing faster than Poland’s Piotr Konwa in second. Cyprus’ Andreas Miltiads rounded out the podium.
South Africa’s Jacques Lloyd finished 25th in 38:28, Jacques Horn 27th in 39:13 and Max Sullivan 29th in 39:15.

Czech Republic’s Teresa Korvasová won the women’s category in 25:48. Poland’s Marta Lach and Germany’s Jaqueline Dietrich followed in second and thir drespectively.
South Africa’s Elmari de Wet came 11th in 28:54.
