Marco Joubert and Anriette Schoeman won the men’s and women’s races at the Bestmed Makro MTB Tour at Hopewell Conservation Estate in Port Elizabeth today.
Joubert defended his title after winning the 70km race in a time of 2:51:47. Jason Meaton placed second in 2:51:48, with Grant Daly third in 3:04:29.

Schoeman crossed the line after 3:30:19, with Michele Scowby second in 3:58:16 and Gene Keet third in 4:06:51.
Ceajay Bosman and Mischka Strydom won the respective 35km men’s and women’s race.
