Dimension Data have signed the experienced Enrico Gasparotto as from January 1, 2019, the team announced today.
The Italian, 36, has been a part of Bahrain-Merida for the last two seasons and would bring a wealth of experience to the DiData fold.

He finished third at the Amstel Gold Race earlier this year and earned a number of top-10 finishes in the Tour de Pologne, Tour de Suisse and Volta a Catalunya.
Specialising in the Classics, Gasparotto has racked up 10 professional wins in his career and has featured in a total 12 Grand Tours.
“I’m really excited and looking forward to 2019,” Gasparotto said. “After 14 years as a professional rider I’m joining a group of completely new people who I have never worked with before.
“At the beginning it will take a bit of time to get to know each other but that only makes me more enthusiastic.
“The team has signed some really exciting and experienced riders to its existing core working group and forming a unit is always special.
“I’m sure we can transmit our endless enthusiasm and combined knowledge to all the younger guys and African riders, who seem to have so much talent and hunger.”
