HB Kruger and Amy McDougall were the respective male and female winners at the Fedhealth MTB Challenge in Franschhoek today.
Kruger finished the 60km marathon in a time of 2:31:01, beating Nicol Carstens and Dylan Rebello to the line.

Fourth and fifth went to Matthew Keyser and Jurgens Uys respectively.
McDougall won the women’s race in a time of 3:03:22. Second place went to Marleen Lourens, with Frankie du Toit in third.
Jamie Penfold won the men’s half-marathon, while Natia van Heerden won the women’s event.
