Former national road champion Lynette Burger was hospitalised after reportedly being hit by a vehicle in the early hours of this morning.
According to a source close to the family, she is currently undergoing tests to establish the extent of her injuries.

Burger won the Buffelspoort Road Challenge in the Rustenburg area in August and the Race for Victory in Johannesburg a couple of weeks ago.
The 37-year-old from Boksburg started her season by winning the Fast One Cycle Race in Meyerton in January.
Burger was crowned the South African national road champion in 2009 and won the Cape Town Cycle Tour in 2015.
She is currently a member of Demacon Ladies Cycling Team.
