Jan Withaar and Bronwynne Swanpoel won the respective men’s and women’s event at the Spring Classic MTB race in Krugersdorp today.
Withaar won the 45km race in a time of 1:47:30 and was followed home by Timo Cooper and Craig Uria, who finished in 1:51:17 and 1:51:23 respectively.

Swanepoel claimed a winning time of 2:25:58, beating Steph Blane and Lisa Bontekoning to the line.
The 25km men’s race was won by John-Dean de Villiers, while Kathleen Baker won the women’s race.
