Lotto-Soudal’s André Greipel won the 175km opening stage of the Tour of Britain in Newport today.
The German completed the stage in 4:00:54, beating Mitchelton-Scott’s Caleb Ewan and Quick Step Floors’ Fernando Gaviria in the final sprint.
