Dimension Data’s Ben King climbed to victory on the 200.8km ninth stage of the Vuelta a Espana at La Covatilla today.
The American completed the gruelling stage in 5:30:38, beating Trek-Segafredo’s Bauke Mollema by less than a minute. BMC Racing Team’s Dylan Teuns completed the podium.

Mitchelton-Scott’s Simon Yates took the race lead with a general classification time of 36:54:52, just a second clear from Movistar’s Alejandro Valverde.
