Denmark’s Mikkel Bjerg defended his title in the men’s under-23 individual time-trial at the UCI Road World Championships in Innsbruck, Austria, today.
Bjerg set off last and finished with the fastest time, completing the 27.8km course in 32:31.05. He unseated Belgium’s Brent van Moer, who was in the winner’s seat for a large portion of the race. Denmark’s Mathias Norsgaard Jorgensen completed the podium.
