The Karoo to Coast comprised a 96km race, which started in Uniondale and finished up in the coastal town of Knysna yesterday.
The event, which is not a Cycling SA-sanctioned race, saw approximately 4 500 riders take part and is deemed as the biggest mountain-bike contest in South Africa based on the amount of entrants.
Craig Boyes won the race in 3:22:17, while Pauline Tunstead took the spoils in the women’s category in 3:50:39.
