Simon Yates reclaimed the overall lead when he rode to victory on stage 14 of the Vuelta a Espana that finished in Les Praeres today.
The Mitchelton-Scott rider claimed a winning time of 4:19:27, with Astana’s Miguel Angel Lopez taking second and Movistar’s Alejandro Valverde third on the 171km stage that started in Cistierna.

Fourth place went to Groupama-FDJ’s Thibaut Pinot, while Movistar’s Nairo Quintana came in fifth.
Valverde is also second overall, with Quintana in third.
