ATKV-Eiland Spa MTB Challenge results: Hannes Malan rides to victory

Hannes Malan rode to victory in the 50km men’s race at the ATKV-Eiland Spa MTB Challenge in Letsitele, Limpopo, today.

He finished the mountain bike race in 1:49:33 ahead of Tinus van Helsdingen (1:49:34) and Gerhard Booysen (1:54:57).

Annaleen Visagie won the women’s title in 2:23:01 to beat Natasja Ehlers (2:26:38) and Linda Paulse (2:27:06).

The 30km men’s race was won by Dinho Mashele in 1:10:34. He was followed by Leaner Kotze (1:13:56) and Vincent Goodey (1:16:20).

Delne Ferreira (1:20:13) took the spoils in the women’s race, beating Daphne Roets (1:22:32) and Karin Taljaard (1:27:53) into second and third respectively.

Hanre Ehlers (00:29:12) finished first in the 10km men’s event, followed by Armandt Hattingh (00:29:45) and Zacharias Pretorius (00:29:47).

The women’s title went to Tashane Ehlers (00:33:10) ahead of Ilne Kotze (00:34:35) and Irene Jordaan (00:37:02).
