He completed the four-day mountain bike race in 14:32:56 to beat Kobus Myburgh (14:45:30) and Marais Steyn (14:59:19).
Jill Janz was crowned the women’s champion after she finished with an overall time of 18:48:09 ahead of Teresa Coetzee (19:17:19).
