Mogale Spring Cycle Race results

Jason Oosthuizen won the men’s feature race at the Mogale Spring Cycle Race in Krugersdorp West, Gauteng, today.

He beat Marc Salie (2:02:27) and Pieter Avenant (2:02:27) when he finished the 78km race in 2:02:25.

Meghan Brinkley (3:25:50) took the women’s title ahead of Adri Strydom (2:28:03) and Magda le Maitre (2:34:46).

Leon Crous was crowned the men’s winner of the 54km event after he finished in 1:30:30 to beat Gustav Roller (1:34:37) and Msebenzi Mnguni (1:38:02).

Hannelie Vorster (1:45:58) won the women’s race with Linda Stander (1:58:34) in second. Lea-Ne van Zyl (2:14:05) completed the podium.

The 30km men’s event was won by Braam Ralph in 1:15:24. He was followed by Wayne Tucker (1:18:22) and Caydinn Fredericks (1:26:49).

Chantelle Labuschagne (1:28:55) finished first in the women’s race, followed by Yolandie Bothma (1:29:47) and Lyndall De Luca (1:30:23).
