After getting two chances of setting the fastest time in the 1.6km sprint race, Durr’s combined time of 0:09:55 was the quickest and awarded him the victory ahead of Morne Immelman (0:10:30) and Marco Meyer (0:13:29).
Henriette Tolken took the women’s title in 0:19:27.
