Keira Duncan and Frankie du Toit were crowned the overall winners at the SA Enduro Championships that took place in the Karkloof Valley at the weekend.
Duncan completed the two-day event, which covered five stages on each day, in an overall time of 34:08. Timothy Bentley placed second in 34:44, with Samuel Bull third in 34:54.

Fourth place went to Theo Erlangsen, who finished in 35:30, with Luke Dinkel fifth in 35:31.
Du Toit won the women’s race in a time of 39:37, beating Sabine Thies and Zandri Strydom into second and third respectively.
Steffanie Grossmann claimed fourth place, with Kathryn Fourie in fifth.
During an enduro the downhill sections are timed and the uphills are not. A typical event consists of three to five timed stages, with neutral transfer stages in between.
The terrain is described as technically demanding and sometimes includes singletrack sections.
The winner is the rider with the lowest combined time.
