Nicol Carstens and Anriette Schoeman won the respective men’s and women’s titles at the Timbercity Cycle Tour in Oudtshoorn yesterday.
Carstens completed the 104km route in a time of 2:42:59. Second across the line was Rohan du Plooy, who finished in 2:43:00, with Rainhardt Marais third in 2:43:01.

Schoeman claimed a winning time of 3:08:13 and was followed home by Mellusca Toovey and Lauren Coleman, who finished in 3:08:15 and 3:11:26 respectively.
Bobby Troskie won the 57km men’s race, while Mischka Strydom was the women’s winner.
