This year’s Double Century sees a mixture of top teams tackle a 202km time-trial that starts in Swellendam on November 24.
Teams are seeded based on the previous year’s results, which means the slowest start first and the fastest last.

The teams to watch include defending champions Active Bodies that are led by Bradley Potgieter and include Clint Hendricks, Willie Smit, Kent Main, David Maree, Jayde Julius, HB Kruger and Shaun-Nick Bester.
Last year’s runners-up Alfa Bodyworks/Giant see Nolan Hoffman, Steven van Heerden, Marc Pritzen, Shameeg Salie, Stefan de Bod, Nicol Carstens, Rohan du Plooy and Jacques Janse van Rensburg in action.
On the women’s side, Flashie Ladies include Mariske Strauss, Ischen Stopforth, Hanlie Booyens and Fienie Barnard.
The mixed team Breitling Premier have Nicholas Dlamini, Nino Schurter, Jan Frodeno and Lise Olivier vying for the win.
The first team to have six riders cross the line in each category win.
