Damon Fouchee won the men’s feature race at the Thanksgiving Sportive in Rooiwal today.
The 17-year-old completed the 92km route in a time of 2:09:07, beating Christiaan Klopper and Hennie Myburg into second and third respectively.

Fourth place went to Jaco Fouche, with Jaco Ferreira in fifth.
The women’s race was won by Linda Fouche in 2:30:14, while Marissa van der Walt crossed the line in second and Welna van Noordwyk finished third.
Sunchia Eckard claimed fourth place, with Cornelia Petronella van der Walt in fifth.
Matthew Greer won the 52km men’s race, while Linda Jooste won the women’s version.
