The Pioneer results & GC: SA’s Hammond, Gordon place second on stage two

South Africa’s Timothy Hammond and Alan Gordon finished second on stage two of The Pioneer in Alexandra in New Zealand today.

The SPOT Africa-Insect Science pair completed the 101km stage in 4:58:24. Michael Vink and Tim Rush won in 4:38:26, with James Williamson and Scott Lyttle finishing third.

Kate Fluker and Mark Williams won the mixed category in 5:39:39, while while Amy Hollamby and Kate McIlroy claimed victory in the women’s team race in 5:47:21.
