He completed the 60km mountain bike race in 2:44:07 ahead of Francois Bosman (2:45:48) and Wynand Baard (2:46:04).
Ischen Stopforth won the women’s event in 3:04:34 to beat Jeanne Hurtz (3:10:28) and Talita Botha (3:30:45).
