He beat Waldo Zevenster (2:21:55) and Juan Louw (2:22:00) when he finished the 78km mountain bike event in 2:21:45.
Laura Stark (2:34:21) took the women’s title ahead of Robin Bolten (3:05:44) and Ronelle Bester (3:15:50).
Tiaan Ebing (1:58:50) claimed the victory in the 52km men’s race. He was followed by Dehan Hancke (2:05:48) and Vaughn Borrageiro (2:06:34).
The women’s victory went to Candice Bradbury (2:20:57). Second was Penny Moller (2:23:35), followed by Leandri Vermeulen (2:24:55).
