Jonathan Bouwer and Chante Olivier were crowned the under-17 points race champions at the SA National Track Championships in the Bellville Velodrome today.
Bouwer had now won his fourth successive event at the national champs, having come out on top in the 1 500m, scratch and time-trial disciplines as well. He won the points race with 21 points, beating Dian Janjetich into second.

Olivier won the girls’ category with 15 points.
